Author Interview #3 Shunkedra has been captivated by romance and storytelling since she was a young girl growing up in East Texas. Devoted to the ART of reading, she became an Elementary Reading Teacher to inspire children to read. Creating stories about love, whether in book format or script has been a lifelong dream of hers. Shunkedra’s first novel “To Love Again?” encompasses love, forgiveness, faith, and family. The important things in life!!! Shunkedra is a self-taught fiction novelist and screenplay writer from Texas. She graduated with honors from Stephen F. September 26 Live Date For Author Interview Exchange D.J. Ashton was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 3, 1964, at Union Memorial Hospital. She has lived and traveled all over the United States and currently resides in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She holds an Associate in Science degree in the field of Criminal Justice and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Metropolitan University. In her sophomore year there, she was awarded a scholarship on recommendation from her professors. Having attended the Medix School in Towson, Maryland, she has a certificate of completion in Medical Assisting. She graduated earning the Alpha Beta Cappa award. Upon completion of her externship from the program, she was hired on the spot by the Obstetrician/Gynecologist she worked for during that time, and remained with him until a divorce necessitated a move further than she could travel for work.
