Why Do Our Loved Ones Die, Aunt Lou? review by Annie Eskeldson

Artist and author, Rachel Stolle, deserves our applause for creating her latest children's book , Why Do Loved Ones Die, Aunt Lou? Rachel's character, Aunt Lou, is the warm, safe, person we all long for in our life. Her delightful kitchen is always open, she has an understanding of grief and, thankfully, has all the right answers. Stolle's heavenly, swirling, paintings are knitted with healing, comforting, words of wisdom; and not just any words, but God's Words. Rachel's heartfelt illustrations will easily captivate the eyes of children while her Biblical story, through Aunt Lou, captures and mends little broken hearts . No matter what age your child may be, this is a must have in your library! Rachel Stolle is also the author/illustrator of Why Did This Happen To Me, Aunt Lou, and Tell Me About Easter , Aunt Lou. New Review for "Tell Me About Easter, Aunt Lou" by Cyndi Anderson

Image
The author of "Tell Me About Easter, Aunt Lou" does a good job pulling both the secular and spiritual belief into an allegory for the young mind. She challenges the reader in differentiating between the secular ways of east bunnies;easter eggs;easter baskets; parties; new apparel, etc. and the Spiritual way of Jesus giving His life to everyone through His suffereing and pain, and then His miraculous resurrection, giving us an opportunity for a complete and new way of life full of happiness and fun-filled lives through our belief and obedience ito Him. She wraps the two comparisons up into a neat children's story. --Cyndi Anderson mom and preschool teacher Visit auntloubooks.weebly.com to read more reviews and learn about the author Rachel Stolle

New Review for "Tell Me ABout Easter, Aunt Lou"

Image
"Tell Me About Easter, Aunt Lou” is about much more than Easter eggs & the Easter bunny. It uses brightly colored illustrations and the concept of having Jesus as a best friend to tell the story of Christ from His birth to the resurrection. This would be a great book for the whole family to gather together and read out loud. ~Carol Stolle mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother

Speech at Shoemaker--Blessing Galore

On October the 13th of 2010, I had the most intimidating, amazing day of my life. I had been invited, by the school counselor, to be a guest motivation speaker on senior day at Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas. It was career day for these kids, and I was asked to share my story in a motivational way. This was something I had dreamed of since I started my journey of self-discovery and healing about 5 years ago, but I never thought I would truly have the strength and courage to do it. And I still don’t. It is only by the grace of God that I was able to share what I am about to share with you with these 300+ teenage strangers. I arrived at Shoemaker about 20 minutes early. If you know me, you know I am perpetually early. I like to find where I am going, see my surroundings, gather my thoughts and calm myself before I begin any new endeavor. One of the hardest things that I had to do on this day was look at that huge courtyard full of students and not turn my car around and d...
